The grinch who stole summer

Where has summer gone to you may ask....specially if you are currently living in eastern Norway. So far I have worn my new bikini once. That`s not normal. Outside it`s cold and rainy...I actually enjoy the rain but it would be nice with some heat also! I have to wear my spring/fall coats every single day..today I even wore a scarf! However there are some positive things:
1. I got to use my gorgeous umbrella that I bought last fall:)
2. My pink boots and raincoat also get a trip out sometimes.
3. I can drink hot cocoa in June and not feel silly:)

When I`m tired..

I love to watch Friends when I`m tired. Seeing Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Chandler always makes me smile:) Right now I`m borrowing season 1 & 2 from my neighbour (who also happens to be my sister-in-law). Carl-Magnus has given up for the day over at the house and I have had an extremely uneventful day. I haven`t gotten anything done except for two loads of laundry. I`m just so tired today...so now I`m going to lay down on the couch, pull the covers up and join my friends for coffee at Central Perk:)

I have been thinking alot lately about how fast time goes and how easy it is to always be looking forward to tomorrow instead of actually living and enjoying today. It´s so important to be grateful for each and every day and to live it to the fullest. Nobody puts this better than

Clumsy as usual

Well nothing new there. I´m still as clumsy as ever. Today i actually fell down the stairs to the basement in our new house (I love writing that). I had started moving some stuff over there and was on my way in with my second load of wintercoats when the inevitable happened. I slipped on a stair and went flying down the steps. My superman came to my rescue and hoisted me up and into bed. I will be getting a major bruise on my lower back, that´s for sure. Well on the bright side we have been getting things done:) My better half is laying down the floor as we speak. We have been looking at wallpaper and paint(for the bedroom) and will try to get that chosen by Monday. Today we have also had a wedding meeting with the chef at Slogum Gård. Tonight we are going to plan the church ceremony.

From now on..

I have decided to write in English (like the other blogs I have had)...It`s just easier to say what I want to say that way...at least for now...we will see...It probably doesn`t matter much anyway considering not many people actually read me blog:) Like a blogger friend of mine wrote..."what it all comes down to is that this is my blog, my thoughts, my life...if you find it interesting that's great...if you don't..well, you've probably got more important things going on in your life than reading my blog...good for you!" - lilcammie :)

I dag braker det løs!

Nå har jeg kokt morgenkaffe til Carl-Magnus og venter på at han skal sluke de fem koppene han må ha for å fungere hver dag. I dag skal vi sette igang i huset! Blir spennende! Jeg skal prøve å få tatt litt bilder og legge ut mens vi holder på:) Satser på "ekstrem oppussing" tilstander ja:)

"Det skal bli, damen"

Det ble som jeg trodde en hyggelig aften igår med deilig middag på Chi i Lillestrøm. Fantastisk mat og veldig god service! Kelneren vår avsluttet hver eneste setning med å si, "damen". " Hva skal det være, damen?" "Det skal vi ordne damen." Vil du ha litt mer vann, damen?" og "Damen, jeg glemte å spørre om du ville ha rød eller hvit vin." Ganske sjarmerende:)
Kan anbefale de thailandske fiskekakene og kylling kung pao:) Synes det begynner å bli veldig mange gode restauranter i Lillestrøm nå faktisk. Vi fortsatte kvelden på Republic hvor jeg slo meg løs med en thailandsk Chang (siden jeg var i det asiatiske hjørnet).

Nå står Gjerdrum på plakaten. Reiser til min kjære så snart jeg har lakket ferdig tåneglene mine:)

Just a little note...

Min skjønne Anette har endelig kommet hjem fra eplebyen og tilbake til meg...beklageligvis jobber vi ikke mye sammen lenger, men vi leker allikevel! Etter en dag (som gikk vanvittig fort) i butikken skal jeg nå bare sprette i dusjen og freshe meg litt opp før vi drar ut på en middagsdate:) Kanskje slår vi oss skikkelig løs med et glass vin også? Hvem vet? Det er hvertfall alltid kos å være med Anette:) Nå må jeg bare finne en passende outfit....

I´m a Lucky Duck

Ja nå har jeg jammen gått og blitt en Lucky Duck. Jeg startet med opplæringen min på tirsdag og stortrives så langt. 01. juli tar jeg over stillingen som butikksjef. Det er jammen spennende tider:) Det virker som en veldig hyggelig butikk og jentene som jobber der virker supre. Jeg gleder meg veldig til å bli bedre kjent med de. Det er selvfølgelig veldig mye å sette seg inn i, men Rebecca har gjort en kjempe bra jobb der så jeg tror ikke det blir en kaotisk overtagelse. Jeg tror jeg kommer til å trives godt der! Det er en veldig oppmuntrende butikk med friske farger og deilige dufter:) Så nå er det bare å ta turen til Lucky Duck for å handle folkens! Fantastiske badeleker for store og små:)
