The most amazing weekend EVER!

Well it`s official! I`m MARRIED! Who would have thought? :) We had the best weekend starting with the rehearsal dinner on thursday. My wonderful maid of honor came over on thursday morning and she did not leave my side untill the job was done:) She was amazing! The rehearsal in church went great and we all went back to casa di Gjerde for a "Hawaiian bbq"...It was a great evening with delicious food, limbo, wonderful people and cheerful fireplace chatter:)

Friday started bright and early with another buffet breakfast at the house and working on the last minute stuff like printing the programmes and decorating the church and Slogum (were we had the reception). I can`t even begin to explain what a wonderful family I have..they have been working day and night to make the wedding perfect!
Friday evening was spent in the hot tub with Ingvild, drinking champagne, eating chocolate and talking about old times and the future - Oh happy days:)

D-day
I woke up bright and early to the sound of Spike killilng the neighbours cat (at least that`s what I thought), Spike is my gigantic cat and I heard them fighting outside my window at 6.00 a.m. When I peeked out the window I saw Spike laying on top of this fluffy white thing...I ran down in my underwear and out the door...(my mom thought I had gotten cold feet and was running away:p haha...long story short...the neighbours cat survived..he was just a bit scared..I scolded Spike and brought him in..then I told my mom I had very very warm feet;)
The morning was spent eating breakfast, talking and painting eachothers toenails (Ingvild and me). At 9.00 I went to the hairdresser in Fetsund (Rett i saksa) where Bente took very good care of me. When I got home Berit arrived:) Ingvild and I put our make-up on and before I knew it it was time to go to church! We were so exited! At the church my darling bridesmaids, flowergirls and ringbearer were waiting outside...I felt my whole body calm down..Before I knew it I was walking down the aisle, smiling at family and friends and at the end of the aisle was the most amazing person smiling back at me! It`s very hard to explain the feeling i had...it was just perfection! The ceremony was beautiful with a violin solo of "When I fall in love" - one of my favorite songs.

After the ceremony we had a wonderful garden party before going to the photographer:)
Then there was the reception dinner at Slogum with many great speeches, songs and not to mention delicious food:)
On Sunday we had a fun boatride (no pics yet) will get back to that one:)

I haven`t got so many pics yet, but will put out a small summary here now:)
